புறவளர்க் கட்டி அல்லது இடமகல் கருப்பை அகப்படலம் (Endometriosis) என்பது, கருப்பையின் உட்புற சுவரில் உள்ள அணுக்கள் உடலின் பிற பகுதிகளில் வளர்வதால் ஏற்படும் ஒரு நோய். இது மகளிர் இனப்பெருக்கத் தொகுதியைப் பாதிக்கும் ஒரு நோய்.

A disorder in which tissue that normally lines the uterus grows outside the uterus. With endometriosis, the tissue can be found on the ovaries, fallopian tubes or the intestines.

The most common symptoms are pain and menstrual irregularities.

Effective treatments, such as hormones and excision surgery, are available.

Early identification of the disease helps to prevent complications associated with with the disease
