The constitution of ESI was made way back in 2003. Recently in the last General Body Meeting on 15 th November 2024 some amendments have been made as follows :-

1. The name core committee/ managing committee has been replaced by the term Governing body.Tenure of Governing body members & committee members will be for the next 3 years from today.
2. Three vice Presidents have been included.
3. After 3 years the election will be held for the formation of the next Governing body.
4. ‘International Academic Advisory Board’ has been formed where International Members have been upgraded to this special board. Secretary General will be the chairman of that board.
5. President will inform the Governing body members on their responsibilities.
6. The president would suggest to the member of the governing body.
7. ESI Office belongs to the secretary
8. BEING THE FIRST & ONLY NATIONAL SOCIETY...
9. We don't have any chapter in western & Central zones and many states of India.
• 1)May be done any state . At least 3-5 there should be there using personal/crosscontacts to recruit 20+/- 5 new members in a chapter .
• 2)As autonomous body like Varanasi , Darbhanga etc the new chapter can start functioning with one chair, one secretary & one treasurer . A bank account may be opened (Optional.Needs Discussion)
• 3)Zonal coordinator would be in charge of all chapters in his/her zone.
• 4)After basic formation one official letter to be sent to ESI OFFICE for approval.
• 5)One scientific program per month or so & one PA program in a school is appreciated with the local sponsorship .
• 5) ******Profit if any would remain in chapter's account / ESI Secretariat would have no liability on Loss.
• 6) Every year one National Conference ( Endometricon - as started in Varanasi as 1st Endometricon would be appreciated) in any chapter/ zone ( Advance amount - No / Strictly Conditional )
• 7) International conference - ICE - would be done every 2 years.
